DIY Mani-Pedi Bootcamp

Mani-Pedi Bootcamp

Spring is here! Summer is around the corner, I can feel it.

Any day now we’ll be chillin’ on patios, packing up the car for a weekend away, hitting the local beaches with friends, strolling the city streets in our strappy sandals and lounging poolside. If your hands, feet and legs are looking a little… Adams Family, here are some tips for reviving and rejeuvinating them yourself. Even if you are the nail salon type of person, these products and ideas are a great way to stretch your manicure and keep your tips looking beautiful!

Soak

Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak and Sea Buckthorn Body Oil
Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak and Sea Buckthorn Body Oil

These two gems are going to be the first line of defense in an at-home pedicure. Soak your feet and legs using the Arnica Muscle Soak, which smells of eucalyptus and heaven and will make your legs feel energized. The Sea Buckthorn Body Oil is the perfect remedy for dry ankles, calves, knees and elbows. I use it all over my body when I get out of the shower. Although it is nourishing and warming, it is still very lightweight and doesn’t leave a residue. Don’t forget to pumice those heels.

*Weleda can be found at Whole Foods, Noah’s Natural Foods or on Well.ca.

Moisturize

Acure Quick Fix, Moroccan Argan Oil and Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream, Acure Moroccan Argan Oil, Acure Quick Fix

These absolute rockstars will make your feet and hands totally nourished and polished within minutes. The Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream smells amazing and has a consistency like rich honey. Slather that on your heels and toes and let it soak for 20- 30 minutes. ( I even throw some fuzzy socks on to really let me feet soak in the goodness.) Both of these products from Acure were introduced to me by my friends at MSquared and all I can say is THANK YOU LOVELIES! At the moment, I am using the Quick Fix on my face which is totally dry from the longest March ever. This stuff is magic. The Acure Moroccan Argan oil can be used on nails and cuticles, hair, face and body and is an extremely high grade oil packed with nutrients like vitamin E, essential fatty acids, proteins and elasticity-repairing agents. I love products that serve many purposes!

Buff and Paint

Weleda Nail Care Pen

Now you can pick a spring colour and remove old polish, push back the cuticles, file the nails and paint away!

Essie Nail Polish

T’s Top spring colour picks from Essie, left to right: Good To Go Top Coat, Fiji, Carousel Coral ( most compliments on this bad boy), Eternal Optimist, Bikini So Teeny.

Maintenance

These are my two ABSOLUTE MUST products for maintaining you mani-pedi. Weleda Skin Food and the Weleda Nail Care Pen with pomegranate seed oil. These will keep your hands nourished and your cuticles healthy. The handy-dandy pen can be thrown in your bag for easy travelling.

Hope you enjoyed the Mani-Pedi Bootcamp and my list of products that I know you’ll love! ❤

Love,
